Globe kicks off its prepaid WiFi service ‘TMBayan Fiber WiFi’ in its 200 Pioneer Hubs nationwide that aims to deliver reliable and affordable fiber connections.

Globe launched its first prepaid community fiber initially in 53 areas in the National Capital Region (NCR); 89 in Luzon including Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite, and Laguna; 31 in Visayas, specifically, Cebu; and 29 in Mindanao, including Davao del Norte and Davao del Sur.

Globe is still planning to tap more local stores as partners to multiply the prepaid WiFi hubs in the country which is a big help for communities that are still reeling from the effects of calamities and the pandemic.

“With our TMBayan Fiber WiFi partners, they have an option to connect to fiber for a much better and unlimited online experience that is more affordable. This also gives sari-sari stores and other retail partners a new earning opportunity as many Filipinos are still working towards recovery from the worst of the pandemic. It is a way to further empower and boost their businesses as they become the community’s new favorite “tambayans” or hangouts,” said Janis Legaspi-Racpan, Globe At Home Brand Management Head.

Everyone can use this service, regardless of their network. To access, purchase a promo through the TMBayan Fiber WiFi portal at a nearby hub. Just go to WiFi device settings,

look for @TMBayanWiFi, input the mobile number, and verify access using the one-time password (OTP) received via SMS.

Those who are registered to TMBayanUNLI99 can choose the @TMBayanWiFi_Shareable in the WiFi settings to enable the person to share their WiFi promo up to six devices at once.

For as low as PHP 5, a user can experience unli-data internet within the hub for 1 hour. Check the screenshot chart from TM below to see their offering.
