Netflix just announced that they’re partnering with Microsoft as their official technology and sales partner for the newly ad-supported and more affordable subscription tier which will be offered soon to everyone.

These team up will result in offering an economical tier for those who still want to watch Netflix shows but are on a very tight budget, the only caveat is that it has ads on it. Netflix clarified that they’re still offering regular ad-free subscriptions.

This news regarding the new ad-supported subscription plan rose when Netflix was reported to have decreased in subscribers for the first time in a decade and also less revenue. Another thing is that Netflix also started venturing into Games to make sure people will stay on the platform, and now they’re considering live streaming to answer the issue regarding password sharing.
