The business was established in 1986 as a sole proprietorship under the name Tapsi Ni Vivian at Bulaluhan. Mrs. Vivian Del Rosario’s fondness for cooking resulted in the creation of the now popular Tapsilog. Her first branch was located at Lauan Street corner Molave, Project 3, Quezon City. Seeing that there was a ready market for Tapsilog, she opened up other branches within the area of Marikina.
After 24 years of existence offering low budget meals for the public, Mr. and Mrs. Del Rosario decided to incorporate Tapsi Ni Vivian. This would ensure that management of the Tapsi Ni Vivian will be passed on to their children. True enough, the children’s zest for expansion moved the Tapsi Ni Vivian into its new place and building. The company now offers catering services and function halls. Seminars and weddings can be held at the building housing the Tapsi Ni Vivian. The restaurant offers 24 hour access to good food and cheap meals designed especially for those who are on a restricted budget. Being low priced doesn’t mean that the quality of meals served is of low quality, so come and prove this for yourselves. The company’s carrier specialty is Tapsilog and Bulalo.
